I bought an Aga from this company - already dismantled and extracted from their client's premises. They told me this was very easy to sell because of its age and condition. We discussed the fact that I did not know what date I would require the Aga as I had builders building a new kitchen. We discussed the fact that I could store the Aga, or they could (FOC). They said they would rather store it (as it would save moving such a bulky item twice (once to the storage area - a barn - and then to the kitchen)). They pushed for a date to deliver, I said I did not know due to above circumstances, they said "just then it is in the schedule and we don't forget". OK, no problem but I did warn them that I did not know whether the kitchen would be finished by the said date. This date arrives and then I get an email telling me that they are going to charge me for storage. They are actually so unpleasant about all this that I asked them to sell the Aga. The whole thing leaves a bad taste in the mouth. They told me they were going to advertise it on their website. I heard nothing from them for months, so I asked them what was happening and receive a string of abuse back. I sent an email in December and was told "Jerry is on compassionate leave", he would contact me on his return. Heard nothing, so I contacted them again. Again a whole load of untruths came back in an email - along with a bill for £472 for dismantling and storing the Aga. (The one they had already dismantled for their client - and sent pictures of). They say that I am upset because they refused to deliver for free. Total fabrication. I asked for the address from which the Aga could be collected. This has never been supplied. They are now also saying I bought the Aga from a Mrs Debbie Minshall for £1,000. Again a fabrication. I bought the Aga from Aga Restore. I have now contacted Citizens Advice and note that this company are acting totally illegally under the Consumer Contracts (information cancellation and additional charges) regulations 2013. They will no doubt bad mouth me - the same as they have the previous person, to dare to write a review, but hopefully, you can see past their claims that we all want something for free.
