Pre ordered item to collect after 1600. Went to collect and the store was exceptionally busy. There were only 2 staff on and after waiting for 20 minutes without seeing much queue progression I left without the items.

I purchased a bike which came with a puncture. The service staff were polite and professional. They sent me a replacement the next day. Unfortunately this had 2 punctures so I returned both bikes through the delivery driver. I called the customer service back and they apologized and advised me to go and collect another one from store. The bike was collected and checked with no punctures. There was no request for ID. Customer service advised its because a 'disposal code' was placed on the order which meant they give the bike away. On top of all of that the third bike after 15 miles of riding bent in half when the brake was on. The suspension came completely apart throwing me into a bypass where a lorry skidded around me at 56mph. They were very polite and apologetic and offered a better specification bike free of charge and a cash sum..which I accepeted. The bike was unridable so I put it in the back of the 4x4 and took it too the store. Things took an even worse turn for the worst. 'Google' told me the store was open until 8. The shutters were half down but I could see people shuffling around..and this was at 6. I knocked on the door with the bike in hand and 'Kath the Manager' appeared at the locked doors. She started moving her mouth as if I could hear her through the glass. I told her I couldn't hear her so she opened the automatic electric doors. I was advised that the brightly lit store was experiencing a power cut and there was no electricity in the building. Naturally I asked how she was using automatic doors in a lit room if that was the case? Which seemed like a reasonable question. She became very hostile and asked what I wanted. I told her why and she said tough were suffering a power cut and closed the automatic doors again and simply walked off. Welcome back customer service. Standing outside Argos, freezing asking an agent why the store manager has just walked off as someone arranged for an exchange of the bike..they advised they will just deliver the bike the next day. I agreed and asked to return the bike in the store. They agreed so I knocked on the door again. Kath returned very frustrated and asked why I was still there. She refused..customer service requested to speak to her so I told her and she opened the door and I passed the phone. She took my phone and then locked the doors with me outside and her inside with my phone. She said no and put the phone down for me. She returned my phone and walked off again. I called CS back and explained the whole situation again..while explaing what was happening a man in a suit approached me telling me he is with town security and he received a call that I was present. I asked why he was there whilst trying to talk to CS. He advised me that the store manager had called him to move me on quite aggressively. I told him to go away but he wouldn't leave. This infuriated me because he had no place being there or to act how he was. I was returning a bike, which they didn't even have on record, to there store as agreed with the company. I didn't need a receipt I didn't need a reference or anything. I just wanted to leave the bike on the other side of the door and to leave. After aggression didn't work, he told me we got off on the ring foot and apologised for how he behaved. He walked of and came back with his name and company details. At this point a van pulled up with EVS or EGS emmissions and a man jumped out and asked why I was at the store. I asked if he worked for Argos and he told me no, so I told him to go away. He said he is Kath's husband and he wanted me to leave. The Manager of Argos, calling her husband and security because she wouldnt take the bike inside as instructed. CS called her and told her she had too, so she agreed to take the bike. Her husband then starting acting sheepish as did the security man. She let her husband in the store and I left the bike, asked her if that was so hard and she just snooted at me. So hope you get a working product because you've got that to look forward too if you don't
